The STARTECH steering wheel is a DIRECT fit, no modifications required, simply remove the existing steering wheel (one nut) and fit the new wheel!

The 36 spline boss/hub fitted to this steering wheel is suitable for all Defenders made between 1998 to 2007, will also fit all earlier Defenders from launch date to up to 1993.
