The rear hugger for the BMW R 1200 R (2011-2014) / R nineT (2014-now) with ESA suspension is attached to the vehicle&rsquos bevel drive housing using the included screws. Attaching it is so easy and ingenious it&rsquos been acknowledged and protected by the German patent office. We selected the length of the rear hugger to not only help keep the motorcycle clean, but the strut will also appreciate the protection from stone chips, dirt and &ldquosandblasting&rdquo. Installing an effective rear hugger will especially improve the life of the strut&rsquos seals and piston rod.
